Discover how Janhavi can support your therapeutic journey!
Aira Psychology and Consulting
Aira means “the beginning” in Sanskrit. And that meaning sits at the core of who we are. Therapy here is not framed as a “cure,” but as a beginning
Our Values
Aira Psychology was founded on the belief that people don’t struggle alone, but within systems that often fail to support their wellbeing.
Modern mental health care places too much responsibility on the individual, ignoring cultural, political and social pressures.
The goal is to help you understand your story, build the skills that support your wellbeing, and strengthen the agency needed to choose yourself within the systems you live in. You bring the wisdom of your lived experience; we bring the tools, structure, and support. Together, we create space for clarity, and meaningful change

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I expect during my first appointment?
Your first appointment is all about getting to know you—your story, concerns, and goals. Think of it as a meaningful conversation where we start to build a partnership for your well-being.
I’ll ask questions to understand your background, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to achieve. It's also a great way to see if we are a good fit.
If you’re feeling unsure or overwhelmed, that’s completely normal- there’s no pressure to have it all figured out. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can feel heard and supported.
Do you provide services in languages other than English?
Yes, I also provide therapy in Hindi. If you’re more comfortable expressing yourself in Hindi, we can conduct sessions in the language that feels most natural to you. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space, no matter the language.
Are your services available online?
Yes, we offer telehealth services to ensure accessibility for our clients, allowing you to receive support from the comfort of your own home.
